La Casetta di Laura

Rosalie and Laura were outstanding hosts, and communication was excellent. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was as good as it could possibly be. They spent time with us, showing us places to get the best gelato, shopping etc and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is well set up and comfortable. I liked the position as we could park the car and leave to walk into the historical centre of Cefalu (even though it is all uphill coming back).

We were sick for the 2 days we had there which meant we had limited time for really enjoying Cefalu but luckily the apartment was comfortable to relax in!!

Cefalu is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Sizilia. The view from the apartment is amazing. Rossario is a very friendly and helpful host.

Nothing to complain about

An inn located in a residential area on a hill where travelers can relax. The tasteful rooms are decorated with a nautical theme and are equipped with everything you need. The terrace is also large and you can relax. A kind couple, Rosario and Lola, live next door and will help you with any problems you may have. Laura brought chopsticks! I feel the attention to detail everywhere. They also provided a shuttle to the station. The couple's cat came into the room to say hello. You can clearly see the rocky mountain that is the symbol of Cefalu from your room, but you can only see a little of the sea.

It's far from the station and the city center. There is a shortcut down a gentle slope and long stairs to the city center, but the return trip is uphill, which may be tiring if you are doing heavy shopping.

THERE WAS NOTHING WE DIDN'T LIKE. FYI...we are 70, and the climb back up to the apartment from the Old Town was a bit difficult for us. Anyone younger, and without mobility issues will be fine. With that being said, it was great to be able to walk, and not have the hassle of parking in Cefalu. Once back at the apartment, the peace and quiet and beauty from the terrace is totally worth it!

Living in the apartment was a pleasure. Everything was comfortable and cozy, the interior is thought out and very beautiful. Photos correspond to reality. Good location of the apartment. Free parking on the street. Excellent accommodation and precise instructions from the hostess. Everything was fine. Thanks to the hostess.

My time at La Casetta di Laura was just wonderful! The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful and the room was perfect... spacious, air conditioning, a great kitchen, washing machine and chromotherapy in the shower! It has a lovely view over the town. It was the perfect place to call home for a short while. It is about 10 minutes walk into the centre. You're walking up hill on the way back... that was the only downside if you're visiting during Summer. I would definitely stay here again and hope to return one day. Cefalu has been a trip highlight.

The host is so friendly that he picked us up at the train station and drove us to the beach. And you’ll meet 5 cute cats and 2 dogs there. There is also parasol in the house. Wonderful place!
