Villa Eletti - A Due Passi dai Sassi e dal centro città

The apartment was very nice and clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet area and you can reach the historical center with a very short walk, no more than 10 minutes. Everything was great and the breakfast as much as you needed to start the day.

We were met by Giovani upon arrival who showed us all the facilities of the apartment and provided lots of information and maps on the what to do in Matera. The apartment is extremely good value for money, well-equiped and very spacious. There is a friendly small convenience store 50m away if you want to self-cater otherwise a 5-10minute walk gets you into the heart of the city. The location is quiet and perfect if you are looking for somewhere with secure parking, close to the centre but avoiding the ZTL zone and with easy access in and out of Matera.

I would highly recommend Villa Eletti particularly if you are travelling by car but it is in the modern, characterless part of the city and away from the unique atmosphere of the Sassi.

Nice big appartment with good beds and a good equipped kitchen!! Free private parking and only a ten minute walk from the old centre of Matera.

Very nice. Good location. Just a few minutes walk to the old town. Very comfortable apartment, well equipped. Secure parking place. Convenient location if you have a car.

The apartman was spacious, confortable well equiped. There is a terace behind (open for some bigger houses). Th host was really friendly and helful, easy to communicate with. The double bed was confortable and the kitchen was quite well equiped. The location is good, 10 minutes to the centre, to Sassi and easy to reach from the bus/train station. There are also some shops, bakery, restaurants nearby.

The second bed was a bit small for an adult, good for a child. However the host provided suffisant breakfast, due to the local regulation he cound't provide fresh meal, only prepacked pastery, but there was enough coffe, milk, sugar, mineral water, so we could start the day and we could also use the fridge.
