Beautiful view of Lake Como. Host is super friendly and helpful.

You will need to be able to decent 100+ steps down to the center of town, where you can catch a bus and need to decent another 100+ steps to the ferry stop. All of that you need to climb again. Good in shape abd no issues with knees=no worries, otherwise, well…. but it was a very unique experience.

Cinzia is such a kind hostess. She left us some food for breakfast, gave us great recommendations for our stay, and made sure that we had everything we needed. The farm with a private beach is a true gem, and it was such a joy to stay in this beautiful place.

Staying in a small village was very unique.

I chose to pay the high rate assuming that the apartment had the balcony and view in the photo, but it didn’t.

Le logement était parfait, beau, grand et bien équipé. L'accès se fait par bus sur la ligne Come - Ballagio (et la fin à pied avec escaliers), et le bateau à l'embarcadère du village peut emmener ailleurs : nous sommes assez mobiles en étant à Nesso. Mais le plus extraordinaire, est le "ferme", qui en fait est un "jardin remarquable", reconnaissance que les français comprendront. C'est tout simplement incroyable d'avoir eu accès à un tel magnifique endroit, avec plages privées de surcroit ! Nous avons aimé y marcher, voir toutes les plantes et arbres, les couleurs, la beauté de cet ensemble si bien entretenu. Nous ne remercierons jamais assez Cinzia (et son mari) pour ses beaux logements, ses bons conseils, et son incroyable ferme. Conseil : il faut aimer marcher, randonner, monter et descendre les escaliers, car tout est construit sur le versant d'une montagne.

It smelt of musty mould. The laundry facilities were shocking and not what you would want or expect in prestigious Como. The parking although it says in 4 spaces on booking.com page parking on site I was sent a Google page and it had the car park a good 100-150 metres away I thought it was an error and I thought I had been hacked and asked the owner had they sent it. It was nowhere near the property. I had booked the room with view so I thought but somehow it changed in the process to an enclosed room with no balcony no outlook I have never booked anything like it. The woman said we could unload at the shop and supermarket 20-30 metres away and I would have to move to this car park on another street with no security cameras etc nor could I see our car from the property. I tried to call before I got there she wouldn’t answer told me to message her, once I saw the truth of the situation I said there was no way I would stay there she said I am free to cancel considering we had booked only 15 MINUTES PRIOR. After that she would not refund my money only 30€ and kept 700+ EURO. TERRIBLE PERSON. BOOKING.COM spoke to her she refused. She was the worst part of our trip and after her we decided to leave Como area. But we did stay at The Silence Appartments for 3 days before we left and they were great and view phenomenal!!
