We really enjoyed the nice apartment, with a balcony overlooking the lake. It is in a quiet local neighbourhood with a bar and a well-equipped supermarket with a Variety of fresh groceries. The owner is very kind and helpful and reacts immediately to cells or messages. The best thing however is the garden. 'Garden' though is quite an understatement. It is a beautiful compilation of terraces overlooking the lake, with citrus trees, herbal plants and many other plants. It is even possible to enter the lake for a swim (though the al water was rather cold in april and it is advisable that you are used to swimming in open water). The garden is very large and only accessible for the host family and guests. We spent six hours in the garden and we had it completely to ourselves. Of course you should bring your own drinks and snacks, no bar available! The garden is located 2 kms from the apartment, a 5 minuten drive by car. You can park your car at the premises of the garden.

It is not really a disadvantage as the house itself is very nice and located in a nice neighbourhood, but the garden is not directly accessible from the house.

We loved how local it felt and the place itself had a nice kitchen for us to relax and cook in.

The private garden beach was stunning, but it is about a 30-40 minute walk all the way to the bottom! The town on a cliff so everything requires a mini hike to get around!

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement dans le tres charmant village de Nesso, idéalement situé. Un petit appartement très confortable et bien décoré. Notre hôte a été très accueillante. Nous espérons revenir !

La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile, siamo stati davvero contenti di essere venuti qua la sera di Capodanno, abbiamo passato una bella serata in questa bella casetta confortevole. C'era tutto, forno, fornelli, pentole, bicchieri, calici.. Ve la consiglio! Grazie ancora alla proprietaria per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità

Location was excellent, right in the middle of the old village of Nesso. We were right across from the market and cafe, so it was really convenient.

We loved our stay here. Our host Cinzia and her husband were so amazing. They were so helpful with all the information they gave. Cinzia can speak some English but a translator app is very helpful. The location is so beautiful for younger people to visit. A 2 minute walk Right down stairs from the home is a little market to buy snacks, toiletries, even groceries to make full meals. There's a pizzeria a little bit further of a walk for an easy meal to eat out, and there's much more in the community.

It is not a suitable location for handicap or someone with a lot of luggage. There's is a bus station and a ferry station close by, but it is down a lot of stairs. Also the bedrooms are upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs. So keep that in mind if you have to get up a lot in the middle of the night to use it.
