Really sweet holiday home in a beautiful location. The apartments are just across a small supermarket where you can get all the essentials and a lovely little bar. You can walk to an amazing swimming spot near a bridge in 10 minutes and the apartment owner’s private beach/allotment is a 20 minutes walk away and absolutely stunning.

This place is amazing. First of all, there are views of Lake Como from every room. Lay in bed and look at the lake. There is a little balcony just big enough for a couple of chairs and a table where you can enjoy a drink. There is 1 very manageable flight of stairs from the street. The interior is homey, cute, and has a fascinating collection of antiques. It is roomy for a vacation rental so our family of 4 could eat at the table, all sit in the living room and even go off to the bedroom to sit in a comfy chair and read a book. I want to take the refrigerator home with me. There is a grocery store just steps away. Have a coffee with the locals also just steps away. Explore Nesso which IMHO is as charming and picturesque as Cinque Terre but without a gazillion people and tacky souvenir shops. What really set this place apart is Cinzia who runs the place. She has thought of everything and there are lovely personal touches everywhere. I would start by mentioning she actually will meet you when you arrive and give you a 15 min tour of her place, explaining how everything works. How many times have we arrived at a vacation rental and had to struggle to even find the lock box, or open the lock box or get the stove to turn on. So many vacation rentals are impersonal, filled with cheap icky furnishings and run by some corporation that only cares about maximizing profits. Here, you are supporting a hard working family that puts their heart and sole into their business.

Cintia is great!! They have a hidden farm that they allow you to use. They give a fully functional and well-stocked kitchen

Location

The red carpet is a fall hazard. We tripped over the edge several times. Also it is a fire hazard because the door got caught on the rug and as a result the door did not open all the way.

The location was perfect and great communication with Cinzia who was always attentive and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the big spacious bed. Loved the design . I would definitely stay there again.

Location and the view
