Casa La Terrazza

One of the best parts of our stay was the warm welcome of Marco as well as the hospitality of his whole family! They really made our trip great so make sure to ask about recommendations for the area. The possibility to lounge at the beach with their reserved chairs and umbrella was also amazing. The house is fully equipped for a longer stay and is tastefully decorated. The rooms are large and stay cool due to the location on the ground floor. We enjoyed the living room and the terrace with its amazing view. Another highlight was the cat Tommy, who managed to greet us outside every morning! The location is up in the hills from Vietri, easy to get to with the bus or taxi. The town of Dragonea is quaint but does have two small groceries (you will not find everything but the basics are there) and a great pizzeria.

Such a beautiful place, beautiful home, amazing hosts, nice location in the hills. Simply the best!

We stayed for 3 nights in this absolutely fantastic place. The friendly host met us upon arrival and showed us around the house and the surrounding area. The house is beautifully decorated, with a personal touch and a great attention to every detail. It is spacious and well equipped. The terrace is a dream and has stunning views to the surrounding area. After the hustle and bustle in the Amalfi coast area, this house is where you come to relax and wind down. Restaurants and (mini) supermarkets just a few steps away. We have stayed in many different places around the world but this house was one of our favourites. We were sad to leave! Highly recommend it. Do not hesitate to book it!

Stunning location with a view over the hills and towards the sea. It's a short drive to the nearest beach, but that means you're away from the the throng of all the tourists. The house really felt like a home for us. It had all we needed to be comfortable and was stylishly put together, but done with feeling at-ease in mind. Great modern antiques and book/magazine collections (in Italian mostly). There's a big TV, plus spare in the master bedroom. The walls are thick, so it was cool when very hot. It was perfect for a family of five and we very much enjoyed our stay in the hills. The village also had what you need in terms of food shops and a pharmacy and we even spent our Friday evening at the bar at the square enjoying the karaoke. We would defo stay again!

Parking in the assigned car park might be a bit difficult for a larger car - we actually found alternative parking up the road just fine.

The property was very clean and had a lovely terrace area with a great view. There were two small shops nearby to get groceries. Breakfast and snacks were provided at the property, and our host, Marco, was also very helpful with bus timetables.

The walk from the property to Vietri is about 30 minutes, and mostly on winding roads with no footpaths. There are buses from Dragonea, but they are very infrequent and often have long delays.

The apartment with all of its colorful pottery, space, washer, and stocked kitchen was really great! And the terrace was beautiful! Marco was very responsive, and the town itself was very friendly and everyone seemed to know each other :).

Incredibly authentic place in the ancient uphill village. Indoor and outdoor fireplace. It's awesome. Super friendly communicative, supportive, and fast-responding host Marco.

These are quite minor things which don't spoil the excellent experience. 1. For newcomers, I'd recommend a simple guide for those who don't have a local sim card and can't call an Italian phone number. 2. Inside the apartments, there are two wifi networks. For the first one, there is a printed table with the network name and password. For another one, there is no such table. I'd recommend just printing a table with both networks.
