Dodo House La Spezia

Apartment was very big, with a lot of equipment for cooking, etc. It was clean and the whole appt had nice smell. The owner was super helpful, but don't forget to check your What's app, because I usully don't use it and I almost missed the messages before arrival. It is 15 minute walk to the train station, store is in the building, free parking on the street.

Because of the small child we are used of having around 21-22 °C in the house, but it was quite cold because the ceiling was quite high and the heating sistem just couldn't heat it up enough. AC didn't help much, because of strange sounds we turned it off. The owner tried to help us via messages (thanks for that) but it didn't help much. Also bring earplugs if you are light sleeper, upstairs neighbours were loud till past midnight.

The home felt so cozy and welcoming. We really felt at home. I also enjoyed having breakfast out on the deck with the view of the hillside!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner who helped us with the parking, which seems to be a real problem in all Italian towns even off season. The apartment is well located in quiet surroundings with a supermarket downstairs, a nice cafe next door, a Coop shopping center within 10 min walk, seaside boulevard within 30 min walk (for us pensioners, at least). The apartment is spacious, tidy, adequately equipped and has a small balcony overlooking a woody hillside.

The apartment is not ideal for accommodating four people: in the smaller bedroom, it is difficult to get in/out of bed if you are sleeping on the wall side (unless you have synchronized your movements with your sleeping partner perfectly). The kitchen table has only three chairs and, all in all, is small for seating four people even for breakfast. (Perhaps a dining table in the living room might be an answer).

We definitely recommend staying in this apartment. A wonderful, helpful host and the apartment itself is large, comfortable and very well-kept. We felt at home there. Comfortable beds, clean, fragrant, great balcony with a view, equipped kitchen, shop on your doorstep, location near the train station from which trains to the Cinque Terre towns depart every now and then. We rate the stay at the highest level and highly recommend it!!!

The apartment is very clean and the mountain view is very beautiful. Raffi was very helpful during our stay.

Nice view on the mountains. Within 15 to 20 minute walk from the trainstation. Nearby Cinque Terre. Nice cafe arround the corner with fresh bread and coffee and also a supermarket.

Maybe some sharp knifes for in the kitchen.. and cuttingboard. One of the pans was broken. Sorry I like to cook.... But the rest of the kitchen was great! Dishwasher, watercooker, toaster all good.

An independent spacious clean flat with all the amenities you might need. A 15-20 minute walk to the train station. Lift in the building. Shop round the corner. Very good contact with the owner.

Nothing to complain about. Would prefer a shower but we knew that there's a bath. A bit cold in the flat but it was due to the exceptionally cold westher for the time of the year (mid April).

Big apartment, cozy and warm place. Big room with comfortable bed. Elevator and parking in front of the building. Quiet neighborhood. Nice and friendly owner. I recommend this place.
