Dodo House La Spezia

Property was nice, but the bath tube was uncomfortable and hard to take a shower on it

Nice place. Spacious with two queen beds and a full kitchen plus washing machine, so it’s easy to accommodate a family. Location is about a 15 min walk from the main train station La Spezia Centrale, and the directions are easy. A bit closer would have been nice, but it’s still quite walkable. Would happily stay again the next time I’m in Cinque Terre. It’s a short train ride to the first of the villages - Riomaggiore- so works well as a place to stay if you’re visiting the villages and aren’t staying there. Better value than staying in the villages as well. Small cafe downstairs with great coffee. Also a big supermarket so you can pick up supplies. We had to buy laundry detergent. The hostess is nice and helpful.

Bedding could do with an upgrade. Old sheets, and one of the blankets had a moth in it. I didn’t like that part.

We had a wonderful stay at Dodo House! Raffaella was very helpful, the house was really nice, very clean and comfortable. It was easy to park the car in the sorrounding area, there was a supermarket with a very good selection of food just around the corner, which was very convenient. The train station to cinque terre is a short walk from de house (10-15 min). We definitly recommend this house when visiting cinque terre and La Spezia!

Check in was very uncomplicated and Raffy was very helpful and kind to us. The property is huge, very well equipped and spacious, it’s very near the central/main train station so you can reach the most beautiful places within 20 minutes ride (cinque terre). Our host gave us a lot of other advices on where to go that were even more beautiful.

We have no complains to mention.

Lovely, well equipped apartment. Spacious, modern kitchen. Big fridge, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, and washing machine. Little speaker was handy when you wanted to listen to music.

Bit far from the centre of town. Shower was in the bath without a wall attachment or screen.

The apartment was perfectly located about 1km from the train station. Perfect location to stay if going to Cinque Terre. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and has a nice sized balcony. The host is very friendly. It was a very nice stay.
