Il Sassetto

Beautiful apartment, every detail has been carefully thought out. The owner's mum met us and was so lovely and kind. Delicious focaccia and pastries were left for us as well as many other things. It made the days there feel so easy and comfortable. There was also parking which was suitable even for our large rental.

Fabulous location, just a few hundred meters from Sassi, lovely apartment, secure with good parking. Generous hosts, supplied everything you could need. Quiet and peaceful.

Shower a bit small is only issue.

Matera is our favourite destination in Puglia, and II Sassetto is an excellent choice for accommodation. Great location, very quiet, the owner Sonia is a very kind, helpful and generous host. She spoiled us with complimentary selection of pastries, salami, yogurts, cakes etc. I wish every host was like Sonia. Very well done, and thank you for having us at II Sassetto

The apartment has everything you need. Space is enough for five people group. The hosts are super friendly, making us feel at home.

Good service, spacious unit, bonus parking right at front door, kitchen facilities, continental breakfast food provided and a lovely assortment of breads, cakes, eggs and juice - appreciated! Great location close to Old City. Washing machine bonus.

Shower is a bit narrow, though water temperature great.

Excellent location to explore Sassi Matera. Parking! Just around the corner is a grocery store, fruit/vegetable shop, bakery (great pizza!), butcher. Washer, porch Perfect QUIET space for a couple.

Great all round, very friendly hosts. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from old centre and te sassy but easy to get a car in and out, private off road parking a great bonus

Lovely comfortable apartment, 300m walking distance to Sassi. Communication with the owner Sonia was good and immediate. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Sonia also provided ample food for breakfasts. The small balcony had a good view of the Sassi. Very comfortable Bed and finally a private parking space directly outside the property.

Everything was perfect for us. Host was very helpful and accomodating. Excellent location, well equipped and clean apartment and private parking provided with the apartment. We fully recommend it :)

The host was very kind and left everything necessary to prepare our breakfast.No need to look for a supermarket.The apartment is amazing on a top location with a private parking space included.I can't recommend it highly enough.
