Sunset Holiday Home Taormina

Great location.... a short walk down to the main street. The view from the balcony is exceptional... including glimpses of Mt Etna. It was very clean and large. They reimburse you for the cost of parking.

It is listed as a 2 Bedroom but it is a 1 bedroom, with a second bed (murphy bed) in the living/kitchen area. This made it awkward for us as we were traveling with another couple and thought we both would have privacy. Expect that upon arrival, you will not have water or gas. It is not complicated to turn on but ask your host to provide specific instructions prior to arrival, as they are not left in the unit. The mechanical unit for the water is located on the patio. When it is turned on, it is quite loud. We usually turned off the water when we used the patio.

Difficult to reach by car

Location was great..a lot of steps..so need good mobility to reach the place.

Was told parking was free and had to pay 42 euros to park…and not close to place. Had to carry luggage up many stairs,

The location is great, with a large terrace and great views.

There may be a problem with the water pressure booster motor. The constant power outages while we were doing laundry was a bit disturbing.
