Great vibes, great view, beautiful garden. The beach is very very close. We enjoyed it a lot and wish we had stayed a few more days. We didn’t have a car, so that made it a bit tougher to go to Taormina or buy groceries, but it was doable, and the place lived up to every expectation. Would recommend 10/10 times!

The train line is right next to the place, so it can be loud, but we didn’t mind that much.

Very lovely cottage. Amenities were perfect. Private area was nice and we loved the patio. There is beach access which is very convenient. The beach is not the fanciest but it’s not busy and not super touristy. Very close to the train/bus station. An interbus can take you to the main touristy area but if you don’t mind a little burner there is a trail up the hill you can walk which we enjoyed rather than paying for the bus. If you want to avoid the busy area and have some cheaper meal options there are a ton of restaurants within a 10 minute walk down the road.

Be aware walking from the train station the roads are a bit sketchy and there is not much of a sidewalk. You’re pretty much walking on the road. Not a huge deal but would be difficult with a lot of luggage. Just be careful. :)

The garden patio was very nice. There was also a lovely view of the sea from the large kitchen windows. The bathroom was very spacious and there were lots of towels including large bath sheets.

It was right between a busy road and the train tracks. Not an issue if you’re a heavy sleeper but otherwise I’d recommend earplugs. Checkout time was supposed to be between 8 and 10 but the host was pressuring us to leave starting around 9:15. We also could not get the wifi to work.

Ocean view is really nice. House has an Air-conditioning. Perfect communication through whatsapp. Near the train station and bus which goes to main city Taormina every 15 minutes. House was perfectly clean !

Next to the house is a train tracks and busy route.

Trains and traffic noise, far from shops

I love everything. It's near the train station and the bus stop (I used it to go to the uptown and also to the city port). The garden has lemon trees and at the kitchen window the view is the sea. Also, from a stair in the yard, you can pass by under the house and the train tracks, and you are directly at the beach. It's a charming place! I asked some questions to the owner by whatsapp about the buses and other things, and the person was always answering fast and was helping a lot. I recommend 100%.

The screw that held the shower head up was broken, so the shower head was just pointing at the wall. For those who are used to showering while holding the shower head, this is fine. Otherwise, it can be a little uncomfortable.
