Alloggio molto confortevole, vecchia casa ben ristrutturata con bagno buono, cucinino etc. Il proprietario sig. Antonio è stato eccezionalmente gentile e collaborativo, aiutandoci a terminare il nostro cammino con la sua automobile, dopo che un incidente a uno di noi ci aveva bloccato la discesa dal faggio di san Francesco a Poggio Bustone. E' una persona simpatica e contenta di scambiare idee e informazioni. La posizione della casa è ottima, a tre minuti a piedi dalla gradevolissima piazzetta centrale del paese.

Absolutely stunning views from this well appointed apartment. Delightful community and wonderful accommodations. We didn’t meet the Host, but he was gracious, friendly, and available by phone/text. Il Torrione was above and beyond our expectations at a most reasonable price.

We only wished we could stay longer!

Il Torrione is perfectly located right on the Way of St Francis as it winds through the hillside village of Poggio Bustone. Giovanni gave us excellent visual instructions to navigate the stairs and narrow lane for the final 50 metre to the house. He also gave good recommendations for eating out. The location on the hillside delighted us with stunning views of the valley below. Basic kitchen allows simple self catering.

Perfect location. Owners instructions on how to find the property and check in were excellent. Great communication by Giovanni.

The twin room could use a bed side light.

The place was clean and well-stocked. Breakfast was perfect, as it made for a quick morning. Although we didn't meet the host, he communicated well and answered all our questions. He even let us know about restaurants ahead of time.

Nice little house, perfectly clean. All you need after a day of hiking. Very good communication.
