Cottage on the Beach

Flott beliggenhet! Nær til strand og kabelbane. Lite supermarked rett ved leiligheten. Flotte verandaer og et fint uteområde på baksiden med egen hage og spiseplass.. Gode senger. Fine soverom med bad i tilknytning til soverommene. Kom lett i kontakt med verten.

Det var generelt slitt i leiligheten, de aller fleste stolene var vinglete etter mye bruk. Bestikk/servise var møkkete, dette kunne vært unngått med en oppvaskmaskin. Vasket alt vi skulle benytte av bestikk/servise før vi benyttet dette. Det manglet propp i oppvaskum så måtte vaske opp i kjele. Varmtvannet var skrudd av på kjøkken og et av badene tilknyttet soverommet, ingen informasjon om dette.

Location was amazing. Close to the cable cart and Isola Bella. There is also a car park option on site for those who have a vehicle, this comes at an extra cost but it was certainly an added bonus for us as we had a car.

Cleanliness.. There was hair in the shower drains, under the cabinets was very dusty, and the ensuite had a peculiar smell that was very off putting for the duration of our stay. We felt the air conditioning units had not been cleaned in a while too. We had a fold out bed and it came with no sheets, and the mattress was exceptionally stained. Lastly, the unit needed maintenance and so the owner would randomly call expecting us to be home to allow tradesmen in to fix things, this really imposed on our holiday.

Perfect location and beatifull view from the terrace. Apartment is interestingly decorated and very charming.

There is strage and confusing electricity system in apartment. Also, there were no window blinds in our room, soo when the sun came up we couldn't sleep anymore.

Absolutely perfect stay! The cottage was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The view was stunning—waking up to the sound of the sea and looking out over the coastline was unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Taormina.

The view is awesome! We asked for a couple more towels and she gave them to us for free. There is a surround radio.

The ramp to enter with the car is too steep and there is barely enough space to turn the car. The shower of the other couple was dirty with hair. The bedrooms are so small there is no room for a bedside table which is needed for persons who suffer sleep apnea and sleep with a CPAP machine. There is no plug to charge the mobile near the bed. Barely enough space to enter bed. The floor was full of fine dust.

No complaints about the property! Cable car was somewhat expensive for the whole family with frequent use (10€/person round trip), but we preferred it to driving and parking. Something I should have researched more before the trip.

The location was great. Be aware that they are many steps to the beach from the street. The cable car up to Taormina was steps away from unit. Great grocery store close by had everything you needed. Elevator to 3rd floor was great.

The process of checking in and using the keys and electrical system was complicated. It would have been great if someone was there to meet us. After traveling and losing a day of sleep it was frustrating. However Geo was responsive to all our concerns. No shelf space in master bath and no closet in guest room.
