San Giovanni In Poggio

Location is excellent - 20min out of Siena on the Strade Bianche route. The hot tub is awesome!

Everything was perfect

Everything at this accommodation was excellent! The villa itself was a beautiful old building, which has been carefully restored. Views of the countryside were just gorgeous. The rooms were simply but tastefully furnished, everything was very clean and sheets and towels were all of lovely quality. We also loved having our own outdoors sitting area and space to dry our clothes. The pool was beautiful and the hot tub at sunset was just divine. Our host was so helpful and accommodating - she even helped me find suitable places to eat (I have Coeliac disease). The entire experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, a highlight of our holiday.

The view is amazing. Beautiful Tuscany ! The room is big with fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed walking around the property and taking a lot of beautiful pictures. Sara is very helpful and friendly :)

Spacious apartment with your own terrace, great communication with the very nice and helpful host, very quiet and isolated location 10 minutes by car from the next town. Recommended!

The apartment and the entire property are stunningly beautiful - everything is furnished with great attention to detail. Sara is super nice as well and she provided us with great information in perfect English. Really great place for relaxing holiday in beautiful tuscan surroundings.

The only downside is access to the property which consists of a couple of kilometers of unpaved road.

Our hostess Linda made great efforts to help us on many things. She even came back at Midnight (aonther day at 7pm) to help me charge my Electric Car. This is beyond service, congratulations for her commitment .. All this week was fantastic

Nothing. The electric charger wasn't working on the 1st day, but they called a electrician and made it work the following day.

The location was perfect with stunning views of both Siena and north to the hilltop towns of Montalcino and Pienza. The pool and surrounding land was perfect for going for little walks. We tried the e-bikes which were really fun for exploring and there is even a new glass fronted sauna (which we didnt actually try). The best part of staying in San Giovanni was our host Sara. She was extremely informative about the area, was very attentive and friendly and even babysat for our daughter so that we could have dinner out. She definitely made our trip - Thank you Sara!
