Casa Petra

Sve je izuzetno lepo, čisto i opremljeno. Najlepši privatni smeštaj do sada. Vlasnici su izuzetno pažljivi. Sačekala nas je hladna voda u frižider, kafa,čajevi,med, domaći džem od smokve. Pravo osveženje na avgustovskih + 37 stepeni. Mape i uputstva na stolu. Imali smo na raspolaganju i mali sto za prijatno ispijanjem kafe ili doručak. Svima bih ga preporučila. Položaj pogodan za istraživanje Matere u svim pravcima. Sve što mislite da vam je potrebno za boravak pronaći ćete u Casa Petra

We spend 3 nights at Casa Petra in may 2025. Location was great. It was well stocked with everything we needed and owner was very accommodating with early check in. Bed was very company and CD collection was awesome. I would nightly recommend.

The outdoor space was not usable. Needs new chairs and table as they are rusty. Plants and area needs some cleaning up. Shower is a bit small if you a larger person.

The breakfast was too small. The location and entry were extremely difficult for me.

The flat is very nice and had everything we need. The host was very helpful too. The place is very easy to find with directions from the host. The door lockes when you shut the door which is good- but not if everybody is outside and the key is inside when you shut the door… We managed to lock ourself out 5 min after we arrived 😱 It was a thunderstorm and heavy rain. We got soaking wet in no time… we called the host and she came as fast as she could but because of the rain it took some time. The neighbours saw our wet and cold kids and invited all of us inside their home. After that we left the key in the box by the door at all times ☺️ Matera is amazing and so is this flat. And with friendly neighbours too. The location is superb!

Location was unbeatable in Sassi. Property had incredible character and history. Loved the vaulted ceiling mezzanine

All good! Beware if you have mobility issues though, as Matera and subsequently Casa Petra is all steps and climbs

We liked everything about Casa Petra. It is a wonderful and charming house in the Sassi which is much better than it looks in the photographs. Maria Rosaria was very kind and attentive and gave us a lot of tips and information. The view from the window and the little space outside where we had coffee in the morning was an added bonus. Overall a really great place: we will be back!
