Maison pas très bien équipée (notamment la cuisine, par exemple un four mais aucun plat qui va au four!), clim qui fonctionnent mal voire pas du tout, propreté à revoir!

Bellissima struttura immersa in un uliveto con panorama mozzafiato. Bella la piscina , appartamento grandissimo ben climatizzato.

highly recommended, entire villa is special, quiet, stylish, old and modern at the same time, pool was great fun for kids, view on the valley and sunsets are magnificent, surrounding villages and restaurants were great

grottone had a smell to it (living rock which is damp), a lot of mosquitoes and bugs were unpleasant, but its a country villa among hills and nature

I had a wonderful stay — the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing visit.

Leaving it

The owners are two of the most horrible people my husband and I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. We rented all the villas and all 18 hotel rooms for a special event with family and friends and their behaviour was appalling. The night before we left to travel to Italy we were told our villa had been rented to someone else and we had to delay our trip which had chaotic knock on effects for our event organisation. When we did arrive we had to go into another villa for a night and THREE of our hotel guests who also arrived and didn’t have rooms because they had rented them to other people ended up in the villa with us including one guest who had driven 6 hours having to sleep on the couch. They couldn’t have cared less and tried to gaslight us by saying we hadn’t booked them (the event was a year in the making). We have since been told that this type of behaviour is normal. Federico and his wife Federica are rude, incompetent and aggressive liars. The wife was also seen damaging and removing some of our property by a third party supplier. When I say owners I mean the son of wealthy parents who clearly bumbled into the hotel business and doesn’t know what he or his wife Cruella are doing. I could write ten pages of the horrific things these people did - one particularly telling moment was Federico laughing at his desk in a arrogant and idiotic way asking what price he had quoted for exclusive hire by the day ‘was it €5k, €8k or €13k, I have three prices I use. On top of the many many things Dumb and Dumber did that ruined our experience, the villas themselves may look nice in the pictures but not one of them has a working shower, the fittings are old and dirty and on check out they clipped the ticket of all our guests adding more money to the bill as they felt like it. They even tried to charge €150 per person to drive someone 5 mins up the hill. These people are lunatics and disgusting, arrogant, lazy, incompetent a holes. Stay away!!!

The apartment is well-equipped, allowing to self-catering and the landscapes are pleasing to the eye. The pool is spacious. I really enjoyed the surroundings and the medieval style of entire property. The garden in the upper part is majestic.

One thing that needs improvement is the smell in the Grotto. It is somewhat irritating and has a musty odor. The toilet flush in the downstairs bathrom needs to be repaired.
