Low price for a decent stay

The rooms kind of smelled (strong fragrance) and there is no window so a claustrophobic person should watch out

Nicely furnished apartment near by oldest tourist part of city, but in tradytional not turist quarter and not rich district of city. It's lets you real feel Catania city, with its eating places, markets, and city sounds etc. For someone small number of window could be problem, but not for us. The apartments were designed in old tenement house (with its limitation) that is why.

Best location, clean, nice owners

The owners were very nice and helpful. The apartament is clean and cosy.

There is a little bit noisy from the street, but it's center if the town so it's normal.

Nothing

The apartment is located a 15 minute walk from the historical centre of the city, is very spacious and has anything you would need for your stay. The kitchen was stacked with anything we would need for the cooking we did and there were also a lot of extra snacks :)) We were in awe from everything. Also the neighbours make good cheap takeaway pizza.

If you decide not to use public transportation (as it wasn't always on time), the beach and the train station are 30-40 minutes away by feet, but we walked that distance twice a day and it wasn't even that bad. It could get a bit noisy at times as there are other rooms nearby, but also wasn't a problem as our neighbours were quiet and nice. Only actual thing to notice was that there were no windows as can be seen on the photos and the mornings were very dark but the whole apartment more than compensates for that :)))

Very quiet. Nobody and nothing would wake you up.

It is located in the San Cristoforo quarter which is not the best. Bad odor because of humidity. Yes, one half of the apartment is a cave. Wi-fi didn't work. They speak only Italian.
