Antony’s Home

The place had no shampoo for the shared bathroom we were 5 guest in total who couldn't shower. The veranda was really small and full of stuff. Also the kitchen and the shower were dyi badly made. The neighborhood was not pleasant. Also you could hear everything that was happening around. Lastly the owner came and wasn't very pleasant and he didn't speak English really well.

Easy to find, well equipped, clean and spacious. Close to many types of food shops - bakers, butchers, greengrocers, bars and alimentari/ supermarkets. About a 20 to 25 minute walk to the Piazza Duomo and other sights in the historic centre. Bus station in Piazza Borsellino is about a 25 minute walk away. Internet, Netflix etc are available in the apartment. If I visit Catania again I would check to see whether this apartment is available...

Not much as it is nothing like the picture

The bathroom if you can call it a bathroom, it is really a nightmare seems like a set up from 80 yrs ago, but for the sleeping and the rest of the area was passable but yeah still can't get over the so called bathroom. It was like a 3rd world country set up and we were not sharing with anyone else as we were 6 but none of us could get himself to shower here, we had to make other arrangements. I forgot to take photos as none of us wanted to go in there again. Plus it is a gd walk from the centre especially with luggage. Bus stop were near by but you had to buy tickets as they don't sell them on the bus. ,

The apartment is lovely and Anthony is very kind and helpful, as are the neighbours. He got his dad to open for me and was very flexible with time. I really enjoyed the place and there's a great pizzeria next door.

The area in catania is a bit crazy. Lots of traffic and very very difficult to find parking so it will cost you extra. The free parking is practically never available otherwise everything was perfect.

The man is good and the room is clean.

The place is not like the pictures, one bed is like for children in the first floor and the second floor with one bed and that's all (we booked for three adults), the kitchen is shared with other people and you can hear the people on the other room, and all day you can hear noice of the cars outside. Small things: doesn't have foam to wash so the dishes are dirty. The ad say there is a washing machine included but he has a sign that says you have to pay for use.
