"Superb"

Great location next to Teatro Soziale, very close to Piazza Vecchia. View of the Campanone tower and the domes of Santa Maria Maggiore through the windows. Third floor, awesome view of the back yard in the corridor. Bakery, store just a few steps away.

A bit musty smell when you enter, but that's pretty common in old townhouses like this, opening windows helps.

Central location as we wanted, really good

Info.could have been clearer, we were on the third floor and that was several flights of stone steps with luggage, no lift. It would have been helpful to know in advance.

"Fantastic Winter Stay in Città Alta"

A very spacious top-floor apartment (one bedroom and one studio room), offering a comfortable stay for four adults. Conveniently located in the heart of Bergamo’s Città Alta, with a well-equipped kitchen (it had everything we needed) and a dining table for four. There are plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour grocery store within walking distance. Both funiculars are also just a 5–10 minute walk away. We took the public airport bus (about a 20-minute ride) to get there. We especially enjoyed the church bells. Our host, Franco, kindly allowed us to check in early. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Bergamo!

Minor inconvenience -- while the bathroom had everything we needed (including a washing machine), the bidet’s water pressure could have been better. Also, just a heads-up that the balcony shown in the photos is actually in the shared stairwell, not part of the apartment itself.

Fantastic location in Cita Alta, clean, well equipped and a great place to enjoy Bergamo from.

Actually ok for us but there are 62 steps to the apartment, in October so on chilly evenings heating didn’t seem to react to turning up. Not the apartments fault but street cleaners/bin men come early in Cita Alta.

The restaurant below had noisy delivery quite early and the windows weren’t very sound proof.
