There is no elevator in the building. It is hard for older visitors

Nothing at all it was wonderful but some people may find the steps a problem

First of all it is the location in the very center of the historical Città Alta. Suited very well for someone interested in visual arts, architecture, music, archeology, and history in general. Just a few steps from Piazza Vecchia, and virtually accross the street of Teatro Sociale. Significant museums are within walking distance. Very convenient is also the transportation by ATB bus to either the train station, or to the airport. This was my third stay at Il Teatro. Signor Franco was very kind again, he was even willing to check-in earlier, since my flight has arrived at a slightly inconvenient time.

The location of the apartment is perfect for sightseeing, it is in the middle of an old town, and we were able to visit the whole upper town on foot. The place is clean and comfortable, we were not cooking but the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes around. The host is nice and communicative. And Bergamo itself is marvelous! The atmosphere is super-friendly and the views are breathtaking. We loved the town and we do recommend staying in this apartment.

Location was perfect. Right in the middle of everything.

Taxi wouldn’t take us all the way to the property because of narrow streets so we had to find property and drag luggage over cobbled stoned streets. As we are bother older this was very difficult. Also didn’t realise it was on third floor - 63 steps. Again not easy for us although Franco did take our suitcases up when he brought the keys. This property would be perfect for younger people because it really is right in the middle of the action.

Location was excellent - right in the middle of Bergamo Citta Alta. Apartment was spacious with separate living room/kitchen and bedroom.

TV never worked. There are No city views. False advertising! Inner courtyard view from outside apt. on landing only. We made several calls to 3 different phone numbers and many emails. We did NOT have a response until 4th day out of 5. Franco's restaurant left all their garbage and bottles at the front door of apt. building, deposited at about 12 midnight every day. Very noisy. No bathroom sink plug - difficult to hand wash. Only 3 cups. One cracked and glued handle - unhygenic and should be disposed of. No sugar - would have been nice. For 5 nights we would expect extra towels. Disappointing . 😞
