"A lovely, character-filled home with a convenient location."

Beautiful traditional house – very spacious and full of charm. The location was good: not right in the city centre, but only a 15-minute walk to both the centre and Nara Park, with bus stops nearby.

The walls are very thin, so the bedroom facing the street can be quite noisy. All bedrooms are upstairs, but the staircase is steep, narrow, and uneven, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility issues or anyone not in good physical condition. There are no bathrooms upstairs, which can be inconvenient. A clothes dryer would also be a much-needed addition. The air conditioning units upstairs were not very efficient and one of them was so noisy we couldn't leave it on at night.
