The staff at the check in office were helpful and kind.

The locks on the doors were very poor and we did not feel safe. There was no hand soap in the toilet closet or the in the shower area … only soap was at the kitchen sink so we had to keep going there to wash our hands after we used the washroom. There was no dryer so we washed out clothes and then they didn’t dry after 3 days since they were air drying in the humid air. If you’re going to have a washing machine, you need to have a dryer for guests to use as Kanazawa is a very rainy place and clothes will not dry. There was only one pillow provided per guest which made it very uncomfortable for us - most hotels / air bnbs allow 2 pillows per guest to make it more comfortable. There was not much to eat/do around the property and we had to walk fairly far to get around. For the price, this house is not worth it at all.

We spent one night at Tunagian TABI-NE and I wish we could have stayed more. The apartment is a traditional Japanese house very well kept and super spacious especially for two people. It has two floors with the ground floor with the living room, kitchen and toilets and the first floor with the area dedicated to sleeping. It also has a lovely back garden and a private parking space. For the check-in you will have to get the keys at a location nearby but the staff is very helpful with their communication on the days before arrival to make sure everything is clarified. At the time of check in they were very welcoming and they gave us all the information we needed. We arrived by car and the road that leads to the apartment gets narrower but if you drive carefully there is no problem getting there. This was absolutely one of the best accommodations we had during our trip in Japan and I would recommend it 100%

Beautiful and spacious traditional home. A great experience. Beautiful objects. Walls could be maintained a bit better. Very comfortable beds. Great to have diner at home but would be nice to have oil and salt. Apart from that very special experience. Thanks.
