Oyamanoyado Michitsuji

This stay was the highlight of our trip. Daisuke and Yumiko hosted our group of two families and multiple kids and made us feel so welcome. We ate delicious meals prepared by Yumiko and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Thank you for your hospitality, it's an experience we will remember forever.

Everything! It was a fantastic stay. The family was so lovely and gracious. The food is amazing and so delicious. The view was unforgettable and they have done a great job making you feel right at home. We would highly recommend! There were even cats and chickens. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!!

Nothing- everything was as described or even better. So great!

Location was excellent as was the dinner and breakfast.

It Would be nice to have a table and chairs outside to enjoy the view. Feet are cold before getting in shower, a carpet or something would be nice.

We loved staying in this traditional Jaoanese mountain lodge! It was a new and different experience. Great scenery and peaceful surroundings. Daisuke-san and Yumiko-san were such warm and hospitable hosts. Yumiko-san's cooking was awesome. Our kids love their stay here and the resident cats. We love to be back again someday!

Bathroom was a little inconvenient as it was outside but still alright for us!

A highlight of our trip to Japan, such a special place with the most amazing host family. Very relaxing and beautiful can't speak highly enough of our time here.

Yumika’s cooking was the best we had in our 3 week stay in Japan. The view was stunning. Daisuke and Yumika were so hospitable.

As long as you are aware that the bathroom is separate and that there are chickens ! The owners make that very clear before the stay and are very honest.
