Yamaguchi House Villa,Historic Japanese Room with Onsen

De onsen was fantastisch, de bedden comfortabel en met de trein & bus ben je in no-time in de rest van de omgeving, heerlijke uitvalsbasis om Hakone uit te verkennen. Station is direct aan overkant van de weg.

Dorpje zelf had alleen mini-restaurantje en beperkte winkel, dus voor goed restaurant moet je wel OV pakken. En het is een beetje klimmen de trappen op vanaf treinstation en van weg naar huisje.

Very near the station! They also provide an english guidebook for everything. We enjoyed the private onsen!

It had a really relaxing energy. Quirky having to go to the bathroom in another room outside. The outdoor spa made it extra special.

If you can’t do steps, I’d avoid it.

It was wonderful to stay in this historic home but we found it disturbing not to be met by the host and then having to navigate the huge Guide Book to get everything working. The public transport was exceptionally convenient.

We would have preferred to be met by the host to have them explain everything to us. The restaurants in the area were not open and the property is quite isolated.

Wunderschöne mit Liebe eingerichtete traditionelle Unterkunft. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Onsen war unser Highlight. Eine sehr gute Möglichkeit von hieraus die Gegend zu erkunden und abends im heißen Wasser zu entspannen.

El onsen privado es una maravilla, disfrutarlo despues de pasar el día recorriendo Hakone es lo mejor. Es perfecto para vivir una experiencia completa y autentica en una casa tradicional en plena naturaleza y disfrutar de un baño relajante y sobretodo privado

Hay que tener en cuenta que estas en mitad de la naturaleza y se van a oír mas los ruidos exteriores de bichos y animales

The property was clean, organized, easy to navigate, and stocked well. The home itself was beautiful—with traditional architecture and detail.
