Big and clean

The access to the unit is extremely challenging, navigating a steep (no steps at all and slippery (especially on rainy days) path up. Not suitable for seniors, children, or tourists with luggage. The parking lot is not suitable for MPVs. The bidet in the only toilet is not working. The flow of hot water in the bathroom is inconsisrent. Also, there is no place to hang towels and clothes in the bathroom, making it very challenging. There is no place for hanging clothes in the bedrooms. The stool to go down a high step into one bedroom is narrow and small, especially dangerous at night.

Excellent location across the road from onsen.

The property level was satisfactory but no more. I was disappointed with the communication at the point of booking. I did book last minute but I think the owners need to setup a system where English communication is available and there is an option for out-of-hours contact. This was disappointing.

It was a lovely property and ideal if staying in the area for a few days. The Japanese style gave us a real authentic feeling of a very different way of living.

The weather was very cold, snowing on the second morning. It took quite a while to get the house warm. It would have been great if the heating had been timed to come on a few hours before we arrived.

The room was big, can stay up to 8p.

The air conditioning was not enough. I had to sleep all night with my clothes on. On top of that, as a stay in a spa area, there are no usable pool here, the nearest one is some way away. Be careful not to use the pool close to the house, a crazy witch will come and smash the door.

Very good house

The house was clean and comfort.

The way to access the house have to climb the stone ladder. It’s not comfort for older people with luggages. The toilet had defect.

Suit for small group or family trips. Private and good location.

Good location , best value for the money!
