Very nice house with a beautiful country view. Clean and comfy.

Had to park the car quite a ways down the street.

so comfortable and the facilities provided were amazing. There were bikes provided and we enjoyed riding around the town. We wished we stayed longer

The house was very well appointed and we really appreciated all the little touches that make sure you have everything you needed. It was like staying in your own home in a quaint Japanese farming village.

I really can’t fault it. It’s a lovely home that you have to yourself.

It was exceptionally well organised and clean. Everything we might possibly need was on hand.

The only disappointment was that it was advertised as two bedrooms. However, it only has one bedroom with two beds. This wasn’t ideal as I was traveling with my dad. It would be very hard for people who struggle with mobility. Steep, short hill to the house, and very steep stairs to the bedroom.

The host gave very detailed instructions including photos to help find the property, which is tucked away behind other buildings up a steep hill. The property was spacious with views over the valley. There were plenty of extra futon cushions to make sleeping on the tatami comfortable. The sitting area upstairs had a table and chairs and also a lovely view. Downstairs was floor seating and a very low couch with many cushions and two beanbag chairs as well as a kotatsu table for warmth, though heating was adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were drip coffee bags, tea, and basic condiments as well as oil. The restaurant next door was exceptional and fun!

We knew in advance that the location and the layout would be challenging for older adults with some arthritis. Bringing hiking poles helped me get up and down the hill safely. The stairs inside were very steep with a turn but had rubber treads at the edges, which helped tremendously. After the first time up and down for the toilet at night it was fine. It is also a long walk to the farmers market and convenience store.

It gets a little cold in the flat since there is not a lot of insulation. Plenty of heaters provided to accommodate for it but the toilet and bathroom were freezing.

Loved the cleanliness, the professional service and the amazing view.

It’s a beautiful house with a great view. I loved the bikes available to use. The futons were comfy and everything was clean and very cute!
