The house is very clean, beautiful and cozy. The surrounding natural scenery is also very beautiful, bicycles are available for us. The owner and manager here are very enthusiastic and kind, I feel so warm hearted. I will be back

An unexpected hidden gem. For an authentic experience, but at the same time very very foreigner friendly. There was a large kitchen and an entire 2nd floor which was not on the pictures. The bedroom was on the second floor with tatami mats, with thin mattresses on top with warm blankets (we slept well) You could have breakfast on normal chairs with the same view if you would which on the 2nd floor as well. (Added pictures [bathroom = kitchen / outside = first part 2nd floor], except bedroom) Immaculately clean, with all the facilities you could possibly which for. Perfect for couples who want a romantic experience. Perfect for families who want to have some space. Perfect for friend groups who don't need to be loud drinking late. (A beer watching Netflix is fine of course)

Our experience has been wonderful. So please read the positive side of this review. If we would have to give an improvement point we would say: It felt like the house had been closed for a longer time. So when we entered the house we had to open the doors and windows for a bit to get rid of old house smell (authentic). After an evening it was gone and we wouldn't have missed this for the world. The house itself was very clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. Not for people who like to party & drink (it is a quiet neighborhood house, with elderly living next door) Not for people with physical disabilities.

Nice vacation house for a couple with a bedroom and a living room on different floors. A train station is nearby. The kitchen is fully equipped and tea/coffee is available. The property has a nice view. There were bicycles available. Also, extra futons were available. Very friendly and helpful host! All needed information was sent beforehand, so self-check-in was really smooth.

You need to remember to keep the bath sink closed otherwise bad smell can appear.

Cosy, cute and exceptionally clean house. Beautiful view of the surrounding country side from the lounge. 5min walk from kudoyama station and a comfortable 30min train ride to Koyasan. Very clear instructions were sent by the host beforehand on how to access the property including photos, wifi password, parking location etc. Was abit of a walk (20min at least) to the nearby convenience stores, though the host provides bicycles for guest use.

We loved the peace and quiet of this town, though that also meant that most stores/eateries were closed pretty early, so be prepared for that.
