Everything at the place was extremely organized, clean, convenient, we got to rent bikes for free and the owner was so kind and helpful. Best local experience of staying in a local home, and conveniently located in the city. Highly recommend !!!!

"A lovely, traditional Japanese home with a wonderful host..."

The host was friendly and showed us the house and gave us some local tips. He generously took us to the train station on the day we departed, which was such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do. We all enjoyed staying in a traditional, Japanese home with comfortable futons on the floor for everyone to sleep on. And since there were four bedrooms, we had plenty of space to spread out! Having two toilet rooms was helpful, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Good location with bus access to the main train station and centrally located to several sites in Kyoto.

It was slightly chilly when we arrived, but the space heaters and room heaters worked well and we were quite comfortable during our stay.

"Amazing experience in traditional japanese home! 10/10 would stay here again!"

This whole experience was amazing! The host met us upon arrival and walked us through the whole house. Everything was so clean and immaculate. They thought of everything! The bikes to ride into town was a huge plus to visit more areas since it is a quieter and more residential area. It was so peaceful here. The owner also offered to drive us to the train station and his wife waved us goodbye! Such a sweet place and sweet people. We were so sad to leave!
