Such a beautiful apartment and fabulous area, close to ocean, market and restaurants. The design and decor was next level... loved the dynamo labels. The staff from the restaurant were very helpful. We ate there and the food was great and so was the service and wine.

It would have benefited with a curtain to keep upstairs warm and another to section off the 2 sleeping areas. Otherwise, it was awesome. Thanks

The apartment was two levels, with shower near the entrance and bed, kitchen, living space and toilet upstairs. It was very clean and well maintained. It was nice to have some space after small hotel rooms. We slept on the ‘western style bed’ which was a sturdy foldout couch, I would recommend the traditional Japanese bedding instead on the tatami floor.

Luggage storage was in a different location with a steep staircase!

The location was excellent only a minute from the station, the bed was comfortable plenty of room for two people. The village was really a quiet place and the people were friendly not many spoke English but they did try and help when needed

There is no real bathroom as you come in the front door to go up the stairs to the living area there is a shower cubicle with a curtain that goes around it, so there’s no privacy. You need to be careful with the stairs going up very steep, the pillows were very thin and so were the towels, concerning the cost of the place better towels would have been nice. Better curtains would have been good because at night it is very bright with the street light coming in. It was very hard to find where you checkin the sign for the Kumano hostel was very small and hidden behind a wall we only find it by accident and google map wasn’t very clear.

Close to the railway station and fishing port. Quiet at night though. Beautiful design, everything is new. Coffee grinder, many shops in the vicinity. Enough space for 4 people.

I would call it studio which fits 4 people, instead of 2 bedroom apartment :-). Sleeping areas separated by dining table only. It is fine for close friends or family who feel comfortable in one space.

Lovely single room apartment close to the hostel of the same name. Fantastic artisan coffee making kit, comfortable futon beds, very on trend and all new fittings. Above the associated wine bar which has great western style food, which you can have delivered.
