Spacious maisonette with spectacular views IBRI1-1

Location was amazing - what an incredible view from the apartment (even better than the pictures). In a great part of Valletta, close to many restaurants, bars, and attractions (although far away enough to remain quiet and peaceful). Lovely-sized apartment with a great living space. Beautifully furnished and decorated apartment. Communication with the host was easy, and the information provided to us was very thorough.

A suggestion for improvement would be to provide some basic kitchen supplies such as oil, salt and pepper - as there is a fully-equipped kitchen. Tea & coffee were provided, however there were only 2 pods (for a 7-night stay) and no black tea. Also, a second towel per person would be appreciated given the longer stay.

Ce que j’ai le plus aimé dans cette maison c’est la vue, elle était juste incroyable face aux 3 cités, j’aurai pu rester là des heures à regarder les petites gondoles défiler avec les changements de lumière sur la forteresse de Vittoriosa orientée à l’ouest. L’appartement rénové et décoré avec goût est dans une petite rue résidentielle donc très calme même s’il n’est qu’à 5 minutes à pieds de tous les restos bars et commerces. On s’y sentait bien! Et l’agence qui s’occupe de la location était très bienveillante et toujours disponible sur whatsapp des qu’on avait une question et ce à toute heure du jour.

Perfect location in Valletta, easy to find and pop back to during the day. The upstairs rooms were beautiful, bright with an amazing view. Everything was clean and we had helpful communications. The owner booked our airport taxi for us, it was very reasonable and they met us with our name on a card at arrivals and dropped us off at the Grand Harbour Hotel at the end of the street, you couldn't get any closer as the last few minutes walk is pedestrianised so best check google maps if you are arriving this way. The airport bus would also have been easy. We ate in the Harbour Club, a short walk away and the food was incredible! Also loved the platters in the Bridge Bar jazz club at the end of the street which has live music on Fridays. A perfectly lovely apartment and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We didn't need to use the extra bedroom downstairs, you walk into it from the front door and it was quite dark with it's own bathroom. It's only somewhere to sleep so is perfectly fine but it doesn't compare to the beautiful upstairs bedroom. If staying with friends they would need to make the most of the view from the spacious living room, which is wonderful so everyone can be happy. There was also scaffolding on the neighbouring historic properties during our stay, we weren't disturbed and everything was quiet but something to ask about if planning an extended stay.

Central location walkable to historical sites, ferries, restaurants.

Poor quality shower cabin and not enough towels

The view of the harbour is excellent. The location right in Valetta is convenient. The upper level is spacious and nicely decorated with high ceilings.

The lower level has some problems: * very low ceiling so people over 170 cm in height mostly cannot not stand up * the wifi coverage does not reach everywhere * no sound proofing towards the street * silverfishes Also note that there is no washing machine. There is nearby laundromat (seemingly the only one in Valetta) but it is expensive and not reliable.
