Kundasang Guesthouse

It’s set in the mountains just a five to ten minute walk from the main village. It’s peaceful place to stay without noise from traffic.

It would have been better if they had served breakfast or had a small restaurant to get food. The staff said that they were going to introduce this service soon as they already have a kitchen and what looked like a good coffee machine. It just wasn’t being used for guests. Therefore, you had to walk to town to eat.

Simple and nice. An important landmark for the guesthouse is a nearby Islamic cemetery but that was OK for us. It is near to many visitors’ spots in Kundasang.

It was a bit difficult to find the guesthouse when arriving late at night. The green ceiling lighting in the rooms may not a good idea to lighten the mood at night.

- Das Bett ist bequem - das WLAN war sehr gut - es gibt einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Kinabalu - es gibt eine kleine Art Schminktisch, an der man auch an seinem Laptop arbeiten kann - genug Parkplätze - heißes Wasser

- Steckdosen wie so oft in Asien ziemlich weit oben, so dass das Laden von Geräten oder z.B. das Benutzen des Wasserkochers schwierig ist - das Bad ist sehr klein und die Dusche 20cm von Klo und Waschbecken entfernt - die Bettwäsche war noch feucht - vermutlich nach dem Waschen nicht gut genug getrocknet

就是进去的路实在不好走，特别是第一天晚上
