2mins to lakefront Family Retreat

- Spacious, clean and comfy - Has everything you need (no dryer but has a clothes line) - Views were gorgeous from up stairs - Dog friendly which was the reason we chose this place, safe and fenced off, pets can have their own space outside - Good for a small family - Beds were large and comfy - Plenty of towels - Close walk to the lake and 2 minute drive to town

- Shared split house - Neighbours (tenants) stay the other half. Told us to keep movement upstairs to a minimum because the floors were creaky which was a bit annoying. - Owner texting the wrong number but apologised when they realised. - Minor issue - shower head / toilet flush - Could do with a air conditioner

The walk to the lake was not too far but had to cross a very busy road with no crossings for pedestrians. I was expecting better location than the suburb street, however it was quiet .The house can sleep 6 but not sure where they would all sit considering only a sofa for 3 at the most. The house itself was fine for us as only 2. It was clean and bed comfy.

It was advertised as a two bedroom house. There was no mention that they had split the house so others could rent the other part. So to get new arrivals late at night who were noisy and had no regard for us being there. They also had a dog who barked incessantly early in the morning which ruined our stay. I booked the property specifically thinking we were on our own. I could have booked a much cheaper place like a hotel had I known we would be sharing the house only separated by the internal door. Very annoying.

We would have like a tea towel , broom or vacuum cleaner.
