The location was good for me as it was on the same street as family. The reason why I booked it. However in my rush to book I didn’t see that the toilet and shower were outside and in different places. A torch was offered but very dim light. Thankfully I had my cellphone torch.

The toilet and shower outside. Really bad lighting, over grown plants along the way so wet legs. Corrugated iron for the roof with NO ceiling. Not sure how this managed to get a council consent. Damp toilet paper in the toilet. NO wifi at all. Certainly not worth what they are charging.

"Great as ever, nice relaxing break"

Second time staying here and was relaxing as always. Rained most of the time but it was warm and dry. Short drive to motorcycle museum in Invercargill, and a short walk into town.

Smoke alarm in container under bench going off for no reason and taking a long time to find it. It spent 3 days in the toilet. Lol

Location and privacy

The bed was a bit too hard for us. The torches to the outside facilities were either not working or weren't bright enough to light the way at night. Hand soap was empty

Everything about the cottage was perfect for me. It was very comfortable & had everything I needed, & was the perfect spot for me to explore Southland & the immediate area. The hosts were very responsive & I couldn't recommend this place more.

There was nothing I didn't like.

"Satisfying and Peaceful"

Awesome wee place to get away for a couple nights loved the cottage and bath outside at night is the perfect touch, The horses are super cute and friendly really top the stay, it is really pretty and peaceful We enjoyed it definitely will be back again to stay

Wifi and Dvd players broken I think I could be the AVS
