Star Struck on Stuart

Beautiful, spacious apartment overlooking St Pauls Cathedral, right in the city centre. Full kitchen if needed. Old building but renovated with heaps of character. Hosts were great to communicate with. Very relaxing stay, will def recommend and we would love to stay here again if we back in town!

This would have been a 10/10 for us had it not been for the water pressure in the shower. It was terrible too be honest so maybe thats something to get looked at. We had no hot water in the Kitchen sink either. This is the only negative thing during our stay.

Beautifully styled and comfortable apartment. Warm and in a great central location. We felt very comfortable and relaxed here, and it was perfect for our needs.

Unfortunately it's extreamly noisy late into the night on Fri / Sat nights with it being so close to the Octogan. But this is both the bonus and downfall of having such a central location. And also the shower had extremely low pressure. I ended up going to the hairdressers and paid to get my hair washed. LOL.

Usually when we stay in apartments, both in NZ and overseas, shampoo/conditioner and tissues are provided. I travel constantly for work as well as leisure and dont carry any of these items with me. Also, there was a coffee plunger in the well equipped kitchen but no coffee for it , only instant coffee which doesnt match the ‘luxury’ brand of the apartment. Overseas most apartments and a lot of hotels now have Nespresso machines and pods. When I emailed the host she replied they must have run out but there was no offer of delivering some coffee and when the cleaner came by (unfrequented) the first morning he checked the empty apartment next door but none there either.

If you have a car, parking is a problem. You have to pay for parking, and find a place to park for however long you need. You might be several blocks away before finding a place to park for a period of time.

Everything about the accommodation itself was fantastic. My only issue and this was probably me was not spotting the combination details and Wi-Fi details from out of all the messages I got from the property beforehand. The location great for Dunedin

This spacious holiday apartment is in a beautiful historic building and very nicely decorated with large kitchenette and appliances. We really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere as it's centrally located. We love the modern comfort mixed in with the charming character of the Victorian decor.

Surprisingly this place didn't provide some basic essentials such as shampoo and conditioner and tissues. We don't mean to be complaining about the little things but we feel that these are necessary and should be provided.
