Exclusive private Riad

Lots of space, very comfortable surroundings, and completely calm and silent during the night - no noise from traffic or outside.

One of the rooms smelled bad, and it could need some small fixes to things like door handles. Otherwise all good!

The terrace was good other than that nothing

Hassan managed the Riad throughout our stay and was an amazing host looking after all our needs and happily answering any query or question promptly and efficiently - from using the local Hamman to booking taxi's to finding places and sightseeing advice. The daily breakfast exceeded our expectations too.

The main square (Jemaa al-Fnaa) is a little hard to find and about 15mins walk. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the way so it's not a big issue if you are happy to walk and along the walk to the square you will witness life in the Medina which is all part of the experience of staying within the Medina (old town).

The pictures look beautiful but even they don’t capture how lovely the Riad is. The décor is traditional and just exquisite. The AC was very welcome and breakfast was fresh and very generous in terms of quantity – lovely fresh pastries and Moroccan crepes and omelettes and jams – delicious. Smail looked after us wonderfully, making breakfast, driving us to/from the airport (For a very reasonable fee,) advising us where to go and answering our many questions about Marrakech and Morocco. Miriam was tremendously helpful during the booking process and again, helping us coordinate our travels. We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat!

Address was a little hard to find - wasn't a problem for us as Smail picked us up from the airport but when taking tours etc we had to meet the bus some distance from the Riad at a more central and well known location.

A really great place to stay for our family vacation. We had great communication with Miriam from the time we booked the Riad all the way until we arrived, and she answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable that we were being taken care of. Our transport from the airport was arranged for us by Miriam/Smail and the whole experience was smooth. Smail took care of us once we arrived and provided us with a great breakfast every day and was there to answer any questions we had, but also wasn't intrusive. The Riad was situated in the Medinah and the experience of walking around the small streets was amazing. Once back in the Riad it felt like an oasis sheltering you from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. One thing could be improved. It was a hot summer and not all the rooms had AC, but it didn't really have an impact on the experience.
