Charming Lakeside House with sauna

The location is excellent, very close to the lake with a small beach in front of it and just a 30 min walk from the railway station via the footbridge over the lake (a very scenic walk) and the city center. The very well equipped kitchen, the dish washer and the huge variety of toys for our young grandchild were what we liked most.

The noise from the nearby express road was unexpected

Sehr nettes Häuschen mit speziellem Flair direkt am See (sind zu Fuß mit Badehode und Handtuch ins kalte Nass); ca 30-45 Gehminuten ins Zentrum von Lillehammer und Maihaugen; ca 30-45min mit dem Auto in die Berge zum Wandern

Leider nur 1 Pfanne da und der Herd ist oft ausgegangen und man musste neu starten

Location was great , very cosy with everything we needed. Host was a great help pre our stay and during which was very useful and appreciated. Our family had a lovely start to Christmas and our children (although young adults) were able to enjoy huge amounts of snow for the first time ever !

The only downside was the steep staircase , just need to be mindful and take a little extra care. I’d happily stay here again.

We had such an amazing family holiday! House was absolutely brilliant. Super clean and had everything you could need. Location couldnt be better with just steps away from the lake and supermarket. Beautiful walk to Lillehammer. Couldnt have wished to have a better place to spend Christmas with my family. Also, special mention to hosts who were always available to answer questions and sent lots of useful information before check in.
