Hot Water Beach Surf Sound Cottage

Absolutely loved it here. Location was spot on as it was only 2min drive from the venue for a wedding we attended. Loved the fejoa trees and the deck. Would love to go in the Summer

Shower was good although thought it was a little small in such a very big bathroom area but it was fine. Nothing else to add as the place was fab!!

The location was fantastic and the house was quiet and private.

we thought there may have been even a few basic supplies provided - there not even a teabag. Just a few half-used old condiments in the fridge.

Location, scenery, coziness. Would recommend to friends and family.

Beds were a little uncomfortable, can't fault it for anything else.

We had a fab stay

great location with waling distance to great cafe art galleries and hot water beach. Easy off street parking for more than one car. outdoor table and chairs facing sunny garden. comfy sofas. Comfy beds and sunny, airy rooms. Owner was fast to respond when we needed things. Was advertised with a microwave but there wan't one but she arrived with one quickly when we requested.

Standard of cutlery and crockery could be updated. Didn't feel clean. We washed it all before use. Inside cupboards under sink area was very unsightly! Top of fridge was thick with dust and grease. Overall cleaning in batch was ok but kitchen areas needed a very good heavy duty spring clean including shelving where pans are. Oven was very greasy and dirty and bottom shelf had cooked food crumbs so we chose not to use it. 3 of us guest tried but struggled to open the back door and i believe the lock needs changing incase there is a fire and it's the only safe way to exit. Would be no time in a fire situation to phone the owner to find out what the 'knack' is to open it.
