Hot Water Beach Surf Sound Cottage

We found our mobile coms not working due to location. Housekeeping not up to standard, I had to clean shower and shelf units in kitchen before use. No beach towels provided at a beach location. We were not told that restaurant and takeaway services advertised within promotion of property could be seasonally closed. Which was an important factor in our booking.

This is a lovely and airy beach house, beds were very comfortable, and essentials for our stay were provided. A shovel for us to use at Hot Water Beach was left for us on the deck. Location is great, within walking distance to Hot Water Beach

The wrong address was provided, the one given is for Hot Water Beach Top 10. This led to a bit of a panic trying to find the place, as none of us had service once we arrived in the area to lookup the property or the host's phone number. Luckily, the folks at Top 10 were super helpful getting in touch with the host.

Spacious house and large bathroom. Lovely garden and great backyard.

The couches need replacing very dirty looking. There were little to no supplies provided, this is a large contrast to all other properties we stayed at around NZ and make it hard to keep kitchen dishes and pots clean! No bathmats, facewashes either.

It was in a fantastic spot and provided easy access to any of the well-known locations around Hahei and Hot Water Beach. It was clean and comfortable and provided all the utilities we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay - there's even a nice cafe and fish and chips less than 5 minutes walk away.
