Krishan Villa

Het is een ruime nette kamer. Ook zijn de eigenaren erg gastvrij. Wij hadden 1 nacht geboekt en zouden de volgende dag pas om 10 uur vliegen omdat er geen boekingen de volgende dag waren voor de kamer mochten wij de kamer de hele dag nog gebruiken zonder extra kosten. Ook is het makkelijk om een transfer te regelen bij de eigenaren voor een redelijke prijs naar het vliegveld.

What a beautiful start to a trip in Sri Lanka! From start to finish they made our stay with them so easy and happy. They collected us from the airport which was a stress free experience and then also organised a transfer for us to trincomalee as well as looking after our extra bags while we are travelling. We are looking forward to ending our holiday here as well! Thank you so much for such a wonderful welcome to your home.

I stayed at Krishan Villa and it truly felt like a home. The garden is absolutely beautiful — full of birds, trees, and plants that are clearly grown with love and care. Every morning I was served fresh fruit straight from the garden, and it was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in Sri Lanka. The hosts were incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating. They prepared healthy, delicious vegan meals for me with so much thoughtfulness. I felt really looked after, and they were always happy to adjust things to suit my food preferences. My room was clean, quiet, and really peaceful. I also appreciated that they had a water filter available, which meant I could refill my bottle and avoid plastic. It’s a beautiful place to stay if you're looking for nature, kindness, and a slower pace. I left feeling truly nourished — inside and out.

We started our trip in Sri Lanka here. Our host was already waiting for us at the airport. Based on the photos, we had misjudged the room, but changing rooms was not a problem. It was a spacious room with its own entrance that opened onto a terrace. There's only one detached house in the garden, so "house" in the description is a bit confusing. Every day we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with lots of fruit (from their own garden). Dinner was also good. Our hosts were more than helpful in arranging transport and excursions. Incredibly friendly and interested people. A wonderfully quiet garden with lots of greenery. It took us a little searching, but there's a supermarket and a bakery nearby. The homestay is a bit further away from the tourist part of Negombo but easily accessible by Tuk Tuk. There's not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but the Angurukaramulla Temple is within walking distance.

We truly enjoyed our time at Krishan Villa. Krishan and his team were so welcoming and helpful, making our stay incredibly comfortable and even collected us from the airport . The room was surprisingly big, and we particularly loved the enclosed courtyard and outdoor shower – a great touch! Breakfast was a delight, with a wonderful spread that included fresh fruit from their garden, sweet pancake-style treats and fresh cooked eggs. Our hosts even took the time to talk us through our options for onward travel to Sigiriya and organized and car to take us. Location is about 8 minutes tuk tuk away from the main strip which was ideal for us as we didn't want to be in the thick of it.

I can’t stress enough how lovely the hosts are at this property, they made sure we’re comfortable from morning til evening. Breakfast is amazing, Offering airport pick up drops offs on a great rate, and the garden! Absolutely beautiful.
