The Ocean Dream

Good and clear communication. Spacious rooms and living area. Tidy. Warm, comfortable beds. Lovely, lush towels. Awesome spa, clean and easily accessible. Good area close to Redwoods.

There was only one hairdryer and it was broken. The gas fireplace did not work. There are not larger oven dishes, only a small one. There was an oventray, which we made work, but was not ideal. Rangehood light was out, which made it hard to see when cooking at night. Could do with a whisk. No plastic/melamine type bowls that we could use for a young person.

The area that it was located. Spa was great to have in the evening.

The beds were definitely uncomfortable too hard even with the bamboo mattress on it.

- grimy on a lot of surfaces, mildew around sinks, stove dirty - wallpaper peeling off in multiple places, and cheap stickers of whales and dolphins slapped over it - holes in walls - kettle was unhygienic, grime and buildup - can opener didn’t even work! - washroom lights and many surfaces, curtain rods, had grime buildup which was unsightly - rusty showerheads, half used shampoo bottles, left over hair bands from their previous guests - one hair dryer for the whole place, and that was sticky and grimy to the touch. It was gross - floor carpet needed vacuuming and deep cleaning. - spa/jacuzzi had a slight foul smell to it, didn’t end up using it - WiFi not consistent throughout the property - caulking around toilet is worse than a gas station toilet - property has a lot of potential but obvious now that their photos are heavily edited and I felt scammed - contacted customer service right away to change properties but they were very slow to respond

Beautiful home, my family loved it. We used the spa which was a bonus.

The property was perfect there wss nothing to dislike about it.

Quiet location. In a nice suburban neighbourhood.

It would have been ideal to have air con in the room as it was Summer. I think it is ok for Winter. They did provide a fan, but not ideal.
