A Place in the Paddock

We loved the location out in the Paddock. Was great to experience living in the middle of "nowhere" but still be a short 8 min ride away from the shops and restaurants in Matamata. Was also easy to get to Hobbiton and the Blue Springs and Rotorua. The Sunset over the fields was stunning. There were multiple games, books and a big flat screen tv for entertainment on a rainy day.

There was not anywhere to hang towels to dry inside. The lightning in the living room was overly bright and thus not very cozy in the evening. Most of the glasses, cups and cutlery had not been cleaned well and was left dirty in the cupboards (probably by the previous guests, but not sure why this had been checked by cleaning staff between next guests).

Pretty view. Clean and comfortable. Smooth check in with locked box.

Food in the pantry has been left in there that was out of date by 2-3 years. I cleaned a few things out. Probably left from previous guests.

Location

Clean, plenty of linen , sheets, towels, mattresses etc to cater to our group of 11. We loved the cow theme throughout. The kitchen equipment was tidy, in good taste and adequate for our needs. The location was convenient for our trips to Rotorua and Tauranga.

The flies were a tad inconvenient. The kids started a couple of board games but they had missing pieces so they got bored quickly. Everything else was likeable.

The house is exactly as advertised and spotless.

Everything, we felt at home as soon as walked in. Was very comfy, water pressure was amazing. The peace and quite was wonderful

We love the cow theme. It was so lovely especially in the middle of the farm. Awesome experience. Will definitely come back😊
