Wow, what a beautiful holiday stay. Opened the door to a comfortable warm temperature and beautiful fresh scent. This house is the best holiday stay so far and will be hard to beat. Everything considered for the quest, comfy beds and lounge it’s a home away from home. Cannot fault a thing. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay. Loved the cows. Thank you.

"Best place in the paddock - loved it"

Awesome location, close to town centre but incredibly private. Awesome to be able to take the dog. Loved the cows in the morning. The cow theme was awesome and the rooms etc were comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back

Best place we stayed while in NZ. Perfect location and if you love cows you are in for a treat. So comfortable and warm with plenty of space and beautiful countryside noises.

Lovely property in good location. Peaceful with beautiful outlook over paddocks and beyond. Pretty sunset views.

The house was well appointed but it was very cold. No heating in the bedrooms and they were freezing. Even with the heat pump on full the lounge was barely warm enough. There were plenty of blankets but we did not expect to have to wrap in them all the time. The oven didn’t work which was very disappointing and very inconvenient as I had brought beautiful prepared meals for my granddaughters and we couldn’t cook them. That meant making very unsatisfactory and costly alternatives

The hosts have thought of every thing you could possibly need and little extras like hot water bottles, games, soft toys were appreciated. It was perfect for a family ranging in age from 5 to 75.

"Great accommodation, for visiting Hobbiton"

Lovely cottage, very homely and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, game shelf, tea, coffee, and hot chocolates. We made use of the hot water bottles and heaters to warm up after a chilly afternoon. Great communication, lovely location, beautiful green paddocks, and we loved waking up to the chirping birds and mooing cows.
