quiet location, very modern and clean,good value for money

Need sign on road, hard to find

I loved the modern amenities, the bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure was amazing. Very peaceful in country settings. Oh the late checkout was wonderful

So....I didn't like the 2 huge spiders that visited me during the night, didn't like the paper thin walls, where I could hear the couple next door weeing and talking to 2am.

Everything!! Quiet location but city on the door step. Amazing facilities onsite and such a lovely warm welcome from the host. Biscuits available all day. We tell everyone about this place!

Location was nice and quiet, comfortable bed and good shower. Modern decor, very roomy.

Property was hard to locate as no signage out on road, confusion on arrival as the gentleman didn't speak English and eventually handed us a mobile phone to talk to someone. Room was very cold as the underfloor heating hadn't kicked in/wasn't working (we called the manager and they told us where to find a heater in the shared lounge area). No TV in room (my bad - should have read the guest reviews better). There were hairs on the bathroom floor and the vanity drawer wasn't clean, and there appeared to be another persons toiletries in the bathroom. No coffee or plain tea in the kitchen (only herbal) plus no breakfast as advertised. No facility for recycling, and the section could do with a tidy up as there were old car tyres and a fridge dumped outside.

Very quiet and peaceful on the edge of town close to several bush walks. Friendly owner, great ducks waddling around and a lovely lounge/deck.

The location of the property is great. Just 9 minutes drive from the city centre, the views from the property are great, as well as the walls around the property. The rooms are well done and very clean. There’s a shared kitchen where we could make our tea/coffee or even food. Staff is quite friendly and eager to help out in all ways, including guidance on trips, what to do and other questions one may have. The owner even drove me to the airport the day after I reached to pick up the rental car. We had to extend our stay during peak days while we tried to close a rental property, and again the owner helped with a simple ask while maintaining the rent. overall a great experience and will stay again.

Great location in the trees quite a way from city centre

Nothing first time in lodge but rooms are tasteful & private. Lounge & kitchen large enough to share if other lodges are staying

Rooms are new and spacious. Kitchen facilities were very good. Setting is great - trees and birdsong. Chickens, ducks and geese out in the drive, with alpacas in fields adjacent.

required google to get around - a bad google suggestioin when travelling north on SH 1. Also a few poor google suggestions travelling to northern directions. Not the proprietors fault .... BUT a handout of the best roads to take away from the motel would be good. Also - salt and pepper shakers, with refill ability and no sugar in the container. The staff need to keep spare toilet paper in the bathrooms because conversing in english takes time.
