Quiet rural location. Extremely comfortable bed. Well appointed communal kitchen.

Only one positive point - the room was clean.

The property is far from town, with no sign difficult to find. Owners do not speak English, and communicate through mobile translators. The room (ensuite included) we occupied was one of 5 rooms the house has. This room was small, the bathroom was a good size but very loud plumbing - water, toilet. We had to share the dining room and kitchen with other guests. No breakfast. We paid $465 for 1 night! - Very bad value for many

When i checked in they couldnt speak english they had to translate my words to a machine 😞, also people coming in at 2am making lots noise slamming doors etc

No tv in the room. Bathroom wasn't clean (had old shampoo etc in shower) over priced for what we got.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was below a standard I would expect.

The on-site Manager was great. He managed a difficult situation well, remained calm and communicated clearly. It took time but eventually found us a room following a double booking.

Unfortunately, the on-site host had no record of our booking. His 'remote' Manager confirmed our booking after 10 minutes but our room had already been allocated. Not sure if it was an IT failing or human error but it wasn't showing on the host's on-site booking system. This was disappointing as I had booked a few weeks in advance, had confirmation of the booking in the Booking.com system and followed up 4-5 hours before arrival to confirm my arrival time. Ended up driving around for an hour or two to give them time to find us a suitable room as town was fully booked. The room had clearly been cleaned and made up in a hurry but was acceptable.
