Star Cottages

The cottage was compact. Clean had everything you needed for a one night stay. Perfectly positioned for town and star gazing

It was well laid out, large shower. Spacious It was also cosy and secluded. A short walk from town

The location and that was it! Overpriced Beach Hut Disguised as a Cottage!

This is not a cottage in the traditional sense, It is in fact a large beach hut. The bed was broken and this must have been known to the owners/hosts as it was made when we arrived. We notified the hosts who tried to fix it but we didn't manage it. Had to sleep on a sloping bed! The microwave was missing a leg and supported by cardboard. For the price we paid we expected much higher quality and service. We could have stayed at Mount Cook hotel for the price we paid!

Proximity to town center

Compact, good location, good crockery and had a coffee plunger! Everything was clean.

Nice big room. Well equipped kitchenette, although really tiny.

Very pricey. Would have been nice to have a shelf for soap and shampoo in the shower. Also, would have been nice to get hair conditioner, not only body/hair liquid.

Needs better lighting. A lamp on the nightstand would have been nice.
