The handy location, we only had to use our car once as everything was close by! The presentation and cleanliness of Beach Folly was to a high standard. Everything we needed was provided and recommendations from the Host information booklet was very helpful. The whole experience was enjoyable!!

"Cute welcoming comfortable cottage in a great position to the main drag & water."

Gorgeous cute cottage with a lovely vibe. The host had done a great job on the decor & had thoughtfully fitted it out. Seperate lounge, kitchen & bedroom. All very comfortable. Backyard courtyard. In a light industrial street but literally a few of minutes from Albert St the main strip & water front. No need to use the car. Overall a lovely spot to stay.

Bathroom was adequate but tiny. There’s a night club Monkey House quite nearby & one night of our stay they had DJ’s till 1am. The host had provided earplugs which we didn’t use. However I imagine in high season the nightclub might open more frequently & that could’ve an issue.

Super cute place with care of every detail. Fully equipped with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable and great communication with the host. Location is excellent although a little strange as it is situated in an industrial area (which doesn’t matter at all!) Easy to walk into town, restaurant and shops.

Maybe just need some curtains in the bedroom as it is not quite dark enough.

"A very clean, well- equipped and affordable cottage near the centre of Whitianga."

The apartment was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. I liked the thoughtful touches like the beach towels that were supplied and the spades for hot water beach. Also liked the lovely flowers in and around the garden.

The parking was an issue when we arrived but this was sorted out.
