Beach Folly - Whitianga

Location was great- easy walk to great restaurants including Blue ginger and both pubs were fun- nice quiet location and functional little kitchen. little courtyard out back good for a wine and a chat.

It was cute but a little compact with bathroom tiny and off the kitchen. All in all though we liked it and felt good there.

Awesome location. Super quiet. The property is set up so well. Would love to say again.

Everything was great

Not really set up for winter. Needs better heating and no bin outside to put excess garbage in small things though.

All instructions were very clear, the property was extremely well maintained and tastefully decorated.

Everyone's stay is unique

Walking distance to the township. Quiet, and private. A very clean, quaint little cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and fully furnished. Just lovely.

Firstly, the owners were super kind. We were there during a bad storm and they checked up on us and offered us extra nights free of charge if we couldn’t leave the peninsular. this was so appreciated. The accommodation was beautifully decorated in a ‘beach’ theme, furnished and equipped to a high standard. It was very comfortable when we were stuck inside during the storm.

I guess with a name like Beach Folly…we expected it to be close to the beach. Whilst, it was only a 20 minute walk to the esplanade, when we arrived and found it to be opposite and looking directly on to small industrial units we were disappointed.

Cute and well equipped in perfect location.
