Big and spacious property

Major concern: A child could fit through the balustrade railings on the stairs and with three young children this was a real challenge. This is not compliant with current building legislation and while implementing this is not required retrospectively, there is a moral and safety obligation to do so (or at least tell us beforehand that this risk is present). Power in the kitchen and laundry kept tripping and we couldn't reset it ourselves because the switchboard was locked in the garage. AS/NZS 3000 (the Wiring Rules) require a switchboard to be accessible to occupants quickly in an emergency and this was not the case. There are two showers, but we couldn't use one because the door was sticking - again would be nice to know this beforehand

Shower didn’t drain well and bit would have been nice to have more towels and some wash clothes.
