The location was terrific, fabulous amenities and lots of lovely small touches with toiletries etc.

It's a great base, so handy to everything we wanted to do. A great setup kitchen & laundry. Very peaceful, amazing night sky from the bath!

We have been traveling through NZ for 5 weeks and our stay at Rocky Ridge was the very best! Three nights was not long enough...so much to do and see, the location was ideal. But it was the cottage that made us the happiest. The cottage is unbelievable! The outdoor sitting area was outstanding, the outdoor bath tub was a highlight, the firepit was fantastic, and our hosts were outstanding. The attention to detail and the quality of the cottage was top-notch! We really wished we stayed here for one week. This is a must stay place! Thank you, Jean, for the most amazing Kiwi hospitality. We will always remember our stay her with so much fondness.

We should have rented this beautiful cottage for a week, and not three nights.

Loved the location. It was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The cottage was amazing. It had everything you would ever need. The kitchen was so well equiped with even some of the basics like oil vinegar spices etc. It has to be one of the best equiped kitchens we have ever had whilst on holiday. The cottage is also very spacious especially with the sunroom! It’s also an excellent location for getting to some many great walks in the area.

The weather. It sadly was not the best during our stay.
