A localização é. Boa. A casa estava razoavelmente limpa e bem equipada

Alguns detalhes baixam a classificação, faltou um esfregona (pediu se e não veio), o estendal está partido apareceram 2 baratas... todas as pessoas na casa foram ferradas, não sei se mosquitos, pulgas, mas é necessário verificar e solucionar a questão..

Not possible to find the place for car in the Funchal

The veranda, the bedrooms and kitchen were clean and functional

There were two couples staying there but we were only given one key for the front door. There were only two chairs on the veranda but it was booked for four of us. There was black mould and a horrible musty smell in the bathroom when we arrived. The shower cubicle was straight from the 1970s and the shower had no power/pressure. The 'dining table' was so small that you could only fit four plates on it without a dish in the middle! On our last day, Monday 17th the immersion stopped working altogether and we reported it at 9am. At 9pm someone came out to fix it but couldn't so they offered us a different apartment. We were eating our dinner and leaving at 4am the next morning so it didn't make any sense to relocate at that time so we declined the offer. Finally, the apartment is situated near the top of a hill so it involved a steep climb to get into town. This wasn't a problem for us as we were all fit and well but elderly or disabled people would definitely struggle with it so it's only fair to warn people so they can make an informed choice. Building noises from the front and rear didn't encourage a holiday sleep in so we had no choice but to have an early start every day 😔

Apartment was very clean and was well equipped for all our needs. For a change from eating out we got some lovely Tuna at the fish market and cooked a very nice dinner. The location was perfect for exploring Fundal
